Brevard Bowlers Dominate Loschetter

Loschetter Tournament at Shore Lanes, Merritt Island rewards dividends to Youth Bowlers with the following results after qualifying on Saturday for the Upper and Lower Division participants:
Upper Division
Elise Bolton, Merritt Island was qualifying leader averaging 230.8
Michael Coffey, Melbourne, was 3rd averaging 224.2
Greg Young, Viera, was 11th averaging 208.6
John Patrick, New Symrna Beach was 15th averaging 200.1
Lower Division
David Lance, Merritt Island qualified 2nd averaging 202
Rachel Vaughn, Port St. Lucie qualified 3rd averaging 196.6
Kyle Gordon, Indian Harbour Beach qualified 8th averaging 185.9
The top 12 bowlers in each division returned for match-play competition and the TV styles roll-offs. In the Upper Division: Elise Bolton continued to dominate the tournament maintaining her hold on the field by being the leader after match-play and in first place for TV Style roll off. Michael Coffey throughout match play moved himself into second position, setting up the two locals for a roll-off at the title. Michael Coffey prevails and wins his second title at Shore Lanes. Greg Young finished 8th after match-play.
Lower Divison: After match-play David Lance finished in 2nd, Rachel Vaughn finished in 3rd place and Kyle Gordon was 8th, setting up a Lance/Vaughn TV style roll for 2nd position with Lance prevailing with a 278 game and moving him on to the championship game against Mike Wiszowaty. Lance/Wiszowaty match puts Lance as the victor with a 265 game and his first title in the lower division.
